Using a special mechanism, the Safe-Lock technology reliably prevents accidental un coupling of the systems under pressure. As the normally contiguous temperatures of the media used are between 90°C and 170°C, accidents of this nature can result in serious burns. The only alternatives to the Safe-Lock systems are double shut-off couplings, with which, however, the complex valve technology has a strong negative impact on the flow values.
